Certificate of good standing
Confirmation a company exists and has met its obligations
A certificate of good standing confirms that a company legally exists and has met its filing and fee obligations to the register up to a stated date. It is commonly required for cross-border transactions, financing and tenders.
- ↓What it confirms: the company is registered, active, and not in the process of being struck off
- ↓When it is issued: by the register, dated to the day of issue
- ↓What it does not confirm: solvency or creditworthiness — only registry standing
